Chapter 6 Episode 4 Show Recap

"The After Show with McKensie Stewart and Amy Shannon" ran episode 4 of chapter 6 tonight at 6:30 PM Eastern time on Blog Talk Radio ( https://www.blogtalkradio.com/wetheaftershow ).

March is Women's History Month. Last week, we celebrated the life of Cicely Tyson, and this week, we celebrated the inspiration, accomplishments and life of Ruth Bader Ginsburg (RBG or The Notorious RBG).

Ruth was born in Brooklyn NY 1933 and died 9/18/2020

She had 2 children and a husband Marty, who after, 56 years of marriage, died in 2010.

She attended Cornell, Harvard Law and Columbia law School

She made the Harvard Law Review while caring for daughter and sick husband in her second year of Law school.

She was the second women to sit on the Supreme Court. (Sandra Day O'Connor was the first). She was an advocate for the law, and changing laws that made men and women unequal. Women used to be referred to as inferior. Ruth changed that.

Ruth is not just an inspiration to the hosts of the After Show, but of women of all ages and races. She proved you just have to be heard to get people to listen.

Thanks for listening and don't forget to catch us on our next episode. We will be celebrating women this month.
