"The After Show with McKensie Stewart and Amy Shannon" ran episode 5 of chapter 6 last night at 6:30 PM Eastern time on Blog Talk Radio ( https://www.blogtalkradio.com/wetheaftershow ).
March is Women's History Month, so The After Show is celebrating by discussing irreverent, powerful, trailblazing women. Last night's show we discussed the actress Viola Davis.
Davis is an amazing actress working stage, screen, small screen and yes, even the "streaming" screen. Her work is unforgettable, and she continues to be a standout actress, not just because of her gender or race, but because of her talent and advocacy.
Our discussion of Davis led to other thoughts on how we should be true to ourselves, and not let anyone deter our dreams. Taking away a dream, is taking away someone's tomorrow. As long as there is a dream, no matter how out of reach, we have something to try to catch, and to strive for.
Thanks for listening and don't forget to catch us on our next episode.
