"The After Show with McKensie Stewart and Amy Shannon" ran episode __ of chapter ___ tonight at 6:30 PM Eastern time on Blog Talk Radio https://www.blogtalkradio.com/wetheaftershow/2021/08/20/chapter-7-episode-13-1
Tonight's guest was Author James Ruvalcaba.
James talked about his book, The Light Through the Pouring Rain , and how it was about he and his fiancée who had cancer. The read was an amazing love sotry, but hearing James talk about it, made it more real. It was his story. His heart and soul showed as he told his story, and talked about his life.
He's certainly humble, and it was an emotional discussion, not only for James, but for the hosts as well.
The Light Through the Pouring Rain by James Ruvalcaba
5 Stars
Magnificently inspirational!
The Light Through the Pouring Rain is a grandly, romantic and realistic story. I haven't read work from this author before, and I'm wondering why, but now that the author is on my radar, I'll be sure to read more stories. Yes, it's a romance story, but it's more of a love story of a young couple, who are deeply in love and ready to spend the rest of their lives together. In all stories, and life, we never know when forever will end. It's an emotional packed story about their lives, and then get "stuck" in this diagnosis that changes the course that they planned. The author writes well, and it is a majestically written story that not only makes you want to sob for them, but also share triumphs. This author is not just a writer but a great storyteller. This read is more than just words on a page. The title drew me in, but the story made me stay. The Light Through the Pouring Rain is a definite recommendation by The After Show with McKensie Stewart and Amy Shannon, as well as Amy's Bookshelf Reviews. I look forward to reading many more stories by this author.
Thanks for listening and don't forget to catch us on our next episode. We are airing EVERY Friday now, and our second podcast, After The After Show, follows at 7:00 PM.
